NOTE TO 2016!!!

Bittersweet year it has been
Finally coming to an end
These 12 moon cycles
Something else, it has been
Some periods sweet
Some sour 
Others bitter 
2015
You failed us
Your promises of resolve were never completely fulfilled 
Yet again life would have been too easy 
One without challenges 
Yet still provided 365 days
Each full of equal opportunities 
You brought along great new faces
All of positivity 
Though personal differences broke some of these relationships 
However, there were those that survived
Then there were the old faces
Some continued to stand strong 
Some others just broke away 
As though it was time
The lost ones found their way home
What a great reunion it was
To see such happy faces. 
On life goals, 
We achieved a lot together 
Built a formidable life 
One we both hope would stand firm
Till eternity we pray
While at it,
Challenges came forth
Some easy
Others looking too impossible to beat
If we declared these challenges were no trouble 
One would have thought of how implausible it was to believe us
But together we made it
Patience, Determination 
Not forgetting you, Perseverance 
Who made it all possible and plausible 
All the way to the light that kept peering through the surface
Just to win.

Now to 2016
We have a lot more to achieve together
Just as 2015 relays the baton 
Just as a new chapter opens
Hope you would be ready
Be ready for those never-ending lists of resolutions 
The challenges that come with fulfilling them
We hope to make better use of the opportunities you present in each new 24
Strengthen the sustained relationships
Especially the one with that great face
That jolly face we love to see each day
That company we enjoy every day
Bring us not new faces full of trouble 
Or filled with negativity 
Rather faces that inspire us
Inspire us to grow
Improve that formidable life we have established 
Blessing us with continuity
Ensure that we enjoy a greater harvest. 
We pray for more challenges 
So as to prosper
In the end
Should posterity judge us
We will not be found guilty. 
A great year it should be
Unfolding as planned 
All these we ask for
